About Us

We currently have 75 members.  Membership is renewed in April, when some places may become available.   We do have a waiting list which you are welcome to join, just contact us through this website.   

 

Under our guest policy, potential members may attend any two meetings during any one year which are not marked as 'members only' (please refer to 'Our Programme' to see which ones these are).   We would suggest a donation of at least £3 to attend our meetings for which you will receive tea/coffee a biscuit and of course an interesting speaker.

In addition to our monthly meetings at the Assembly Hall, we have a book club, cinema club, theatre group, canasta group, walking group, gardening club and ten pin bowls club available to members.  We will be arranging visits to gardens and places of interest as well as guided walks around London and day trips.

 

We are now supporting Bromley and Croydon Womens' Aid as our chosen charity for 2025/27, as well as occasional fund raising for local causes which tie in with WI resolutions and campaigns.

We produce a monthly newsletter giving details of our group activities, and there is also a monthly West Kent News giving regional information.  Members receive a copy of WILife Magazine eight times a year, and have access to MyWI website.
